Personalized Treatment

In psychotherapy, your experience is unique, and so is the care you receive. During your initial sessions, we’ll work together to identify your goals, explore any challenges you’re facing, and develop a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, our aim is to help you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and foster emotional growth. You can expect a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood. Most patients see their therapists on a weekly basis.

Confidentiality & Trust

One of the most important aspects of psychotherapy is building a trusting, confidential relationship. Everything you share in therapy remains private, providing you with a safe environment to openly express your thoughts and feelings. We follow strict ethical guidelines to ensure your confidentiality is respected at all times. This foundation of trust allows you to explore sensitive issues without fear of judgment, helping you move toward healing and self-discovery.

However, there are a few important exceptions to this confidentiality. If there is a concern that you are in immediate danger of harming yourself or someone else, or if there is suspected abuse of a child, elderly person, or vulnerable adult, we are ethically and legally obligated to take action to protect those involved. This may involve contacting the appropriate authorities or other professionals to ensure safety. These situations are very rare, and we will always strive to discuss any concerns with you before taking action, whenever possible. This balance between confidentiality and safety ensures that we can work together in a space that is both secure and responsible.

Active Participation

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process that requires active participation. You will be encouraged to reflect on your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors both during and between sessions. The work we do together in therapy extends beyond the office—by applying insights and skills learned in our sessions to your daily life, you can foster lasting change. The more engaged and committed you are, the more impactful your therapeutic journey will be.

Evidence-Based

Techniques

In our sessions, we use evidence-based therapeutic techniques proven to help individuals manage and overcome challenges. Depending on your needs, we may incorporate approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy, or trauma-informed care. You can expect a flexible, adaptable treatment plan that evolves as you progress in therapy. These techniques are designed to empower you to take control of your mental well-being and create meaningful, positive changes in your life.
