Healing Alongside Others
Who Understand

There's something powerful about realizing you're not the only one. Individual therapy is essential, but for many people, real breakthroughs happen in a room with others who are facing something similar. Our group therapy programs bring together children, adolescents, and adults for both psychoeducational groups, focused on building understanding and skills, and therapeutic groups, focused on deeper emotional processing and connection.

Groups are smaller, intentional, and facilitated by a clinician who keeps the space safe, structured, and productive, not just a conversation, but real therapeutic work done together.

Psychoeducational Groups

These groups are built around learning and skill building. Participants come together to understand a specific challenge, whether that's anxiety, social skills, emotional regulation, or navigating a particular life transition, and to practice concrete strategies for managing it. Psychoeducational groups tend to be more structured, often following a curriculum or set of skills across sessions, and are especially effective for children and adolescents who benefit from practicing new skills alongside peers.

Therapeutic Groups

Therapeutic groups go deeper, offering a space for participants to process emotions, share experiences, and support one another under the guidance of a trained clinician. These groups work well for grief, life transitions, and shared experiences that benefit from the perspective and support of others who genuinely understand, not just intellectually, but because they've lived something similar.

Who Groups Are For

Children and Adolescents:
Groups focused on social skills, emotional regulation, friendship difficulties, and building confidence in peer relationships, giving kids a low-pressure space to practice new skills with others their age.

Teens:
Groups addressing the specific pressures of adolescence, including anxiety, self-esteem, and the social and academic stress that so many teenagers carry, often in a format that feels more like connection than a formal session.

Adults
Groups for adults navigating shared experiences such as anxiety, grief, life transitions, or the challenges of parenting, offering both practical tools and the relief of shared understanding.

Parents
Group support for parents navigating a specific challenge together, whether that's raising an anxious child, co-parenting after separation, or simply the ordinary difficulty of parenting in a demanding world.

Why Group Therapy Works

Group therapy offers something individual sessions can't fully replicate: the experience of being understood by people who are genuinely walking a similar path. It reduces isolation, builds real world social and communication skills in real time, and often surfaces insights that come more naturally in conversation with peers than in a one-on-one session. For many participants, group therapy works well alongside individual therapy, reinforcing progress from both directions.

Who This Is For

Anyone who feels isolated in what they're going through and would benefit from connection alongside clinical support. Parents looking for a structured, skill-building environment for a child struggling socially or emotionally. Adults navigating a shared life challenge who want both community and real therapeutic guidance. Anyone who has found individual therapy valuable and is ready to add the dimension of group support.
